I removed the PS pump, loosened the Int. Manifold, replaced the alternator and serpentine belt. I should have stuck it out and done the Timing Belt. Water pump and associated pieces. And I really should have serviced the PCV system.
The prices are a put-off for a full kit. Low $300s (IPD) to mid $300s (PartsGeek). When I go back in I want to attempt to clean out all the hoses/tubing and reuse them, same with the Flame trap box (although I'll probably break it getting it off, as I did with my 850s). So I'll buy the box and use lots of Seafoam and compressed air, long skinny brushes etc.
Does ANYONE have pics or drawings? I was never able to lift the manifold more than a couple inches because of things connected underneath that I couldn't access/see. If I knew what was there I might be able to do it without seeing it (replacing it might be more of an issue!). SO if any of you T6 experts have any decent material or suggestions to get it free, I would greatly appreciate see/reading it.
Thanks again! Sim

Since the car has great service history then just clean throttle.
The hose uses clamps with 7 mm hex screws. Take out the fresh air duct from air cleaner to top of rad.
Then carefully remove the connectors to the boost sensor and the intake air temp sensor that are on the inter cooler to throttle pipe. Loosen the camps and remove the pipe. It is best if engine is warm so the black plastic IC to throttle pipe is softer and will come off easier.
The throtle is held on by bolts with 10mm heads (4).
There is a connector for the throttle that is down below and is usually cable tied to the wiring conduit there. Clean the throttle by holding it open and wiping the bore with a rag sprayed with some carb/choke or the throttle cleaner spray. There is risk of cleaner going down throttle shaft and fouling the throttle sensor if you are too free with the cleaner.

Take a look at this threat: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 11&t=59656
There I give a link of gallery with pictures where I did engine head restoration. It could be in help for you to see what's going on under the bottom part of the intake manifold when it is removed. The car is 2.9 non-turbo, but except the turbo paths there should be no other differences with T6 talking about PCV remove/replace procedure.

The only two things that are hidden are the clamp for intercooler to throttle hose (7mm ) and the hollow bolt for hot water heated crankcase vent nipple (17mm).
The clamp is accessible with a 1/4 drive ratchet, 7mm socket, and 6 inch extension. Or even better is flex handle 7mm nut driver purpose made for hose clamps.
