Glove Compartment Door Rattles a bit

'02 S60 AWD:

I have noticed that the glove box door is quite loose.

Is there any way to adjust the latch to draw it closer to the bumpers it should be resting against?

The easiet way is to get those large felt furniture bumpers.
get the ones about 1" round and 1/4"+ thick, then shim out the glovebox door

Hmmm. I guess I'm not looking for the easiest way. There must be a way to adjust that, isn't there?

Yeah, the dealers know how to but it really doesn't last too long (the adjustment).
Volvo is known for rattling glove boxes, so do yourself a favor, use the shim pads, they work!
