V70 Hose Identification

Post by chulce »

Great forum...used it a lot but this is my first time to post. Can someone ID the hose in this picture. I'd prefer not to drive the 100 miles to the dealer to have them charge me $100.00 bucks to replace a $25.00 hose. It runs from a box that appears to be part of the A/C system and into the radiator. The flexible part in the middle has disintegrated.

Also any suggestions on where(online) to order parts?

2000 XC70 AWD Non-turbo

Thanks,

C~

That is the air vent hose to the computer box. There is no real pressure on it and some electrical tape around it will work fine until you find a replacement.

I don't know of an aftermarket supplier for the part but a if you have an import junk yard in your area that would be a good place to start.
