Hi all, first post, 2nd Volvo
I have a 1992 940 GL, ( 370,00 kms) in excellent overall condition, second owner
Slowly getting all the little bugs fixed and serviced by Chris at Povey Motors , here in Adelaide , South Australia
Chris is great and really knows Volvo's , but there is one task I would like to tackle myself
The piece of interior plastic trim that covers the front pillar from the roof to bonnet ( short side of windscreen) is distorted from sun exposure ( think the previous owner parked in the same spot every day and it caught the afternoon sun, which is fierce in high summer)
I think if I can remove it in one piece, I can heat it with a heat gun and clamp it between 2 bits of wood to straighten it again
Of course, I can just get Chris to replace it with a second hand piece, but just curious if my theory will work
Any removal advice greatly appreciated
