Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Normal it's called the after blow function; it turns off when condensation levels return to normal in the cabin. The dealer can turn it off with their scanner.

I doubt that it is after blow just because

That can be faulty fan. (more exactly speed regulator).
If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer :)

The OP needs to tell us more.
Does the fan run only after a drive of 30 or more minutes with aircon operating?
Does fan start 40 minutes or so after ignition is switched off?
Does the fan stop again 7-12 minutes after it comes on if you wait without doing anything?

If these are yes, then it is afterblow.
