I have a question. I have had my xc90 at the dealership 3 times in a month and a half ( 2 times this week) . The truck did not start twice when I shut it off and then tried to restart. It was as if the battery had died. Made the clicking sound when trying to turn over. Lights and radio still worked. I had to jump start the vehicle both times. Problem seem to go away and showed no signs on the computer , nor could the tech find any issues. This week I turned the vehicle off and when I went to start it the key would not go into the lll position. Could not start it ( had power) could not put it in Neutral. Had to flat bed it to deal. They said it needs a new ignition cylinder.. cost $600 .. My question is could an ignition cylinder have caused the vehicle to not start the other times ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thank you.
