2001 V70 XC P0440 P1237 Codes

2001 V70 XC P0440 P1237 Codes

Volvo threw both the P0440 and P1237 codes at the same time. Replaced the Turbo Boost Solenoid (part # 30670449) for the P1237 code and reset both codes and then the P0440 code came back so I replaced the Evap Purge Valve (part # 9470775)

So my question is might there be a reason both these valves failed at the same time? Is there something else that is failing that I should replace? Car is not throwing codes but not running exacttly smooth at idle either. (no surging rpm's though)

Any help would be appreciated.
