1999 S80 T6 Poor running after cold start

It seems I finally have all issues sorted on my T6 except for one (minor) bug. When starting in the morning for the first time, it will idle OK, but as soon as I put it in gear (auto) and very gently pull away, it gets all "herky-jerky" on me for the first 1-2 minutes. Once it's in the normal operating range it seems fine. Subsequent starts, after overcominng the first start (and when it still has some warmth stored in the engine) it starts and runs fine.

I don't run extended idles. I believe Volvo (and other engine people) when they promote start it and just drive it normally.
