02 v70 mk2 auto headlamp washer no water

Post by grapefruit »

Hi everyone i am after some advice regarding my headlight wash wipe system.
The wipers are working fine but there is no washer fluid during operation.
My screen wash is fine and no leaks.i have looked the best i can to see if any of the pipes are disconected but i cant see properly and dont really want to take the bumper apart etc.
Please could anybody give me any suggestions as to what to look for.
Many thanks.

The same pump is used for windshield and headlights. As per the wiring diagram when the headlights wipers operate the washer pump is activated. Since your windshield washer works I would look for a tubing blockage somewhere between the pump and the headlights ( IE: T fitting).

If you need to remove the front bumper look at this thread for more information.
