Want to add a set of summer wheels to my car and don't want to add $400 to the cost to add the tire sensors. I check all of my cars weekly for oil level and tire pressure---always have and will. Does anyone know if the TPMS can be deactivated via the dealer, local shop or tire installer? Its just software and if it can be turned on, thinking it can be turned off just as easy. Thanks for looking and any help.

It sure is. Software part number 30748817. Your dealer or an independent shop with a VIDA subscription can download and install this software to remove the TPMS.
