It took a little longer to remove spark plugs and soak up oil in plug wells due to oil cap seal leak. Aisin water pump was weeping from expansion plug (mileage unknown)
The oil leaks seem to be purely from the oil cap seal.
Transgo kit and new transmission fluid will be next weekend

Valve body was refurbished with a Transgo kit last month.
Replaced voltage regulator in the alternator. Idle is now 14.28V with no load; previously it was 13.1V
Replaced the power steering reservoir hose with a new one as it had been seeping.

295, 600kms I made a poor buying decision with a regualtor a couple of months ago as it failed shortly afterwards. Replaced voltage regulator again today in alternator as battery voltage with engine running was only 12.7V.
After replacement of the regulator it's now a healthy 14.5V with no accessories.

301,156kms
Noticed that the serpentine belt was shredding slightly and located a power steering fluid leak at the reservoir clamp. Tracked the problem to an inferior clamp which had bitten in to the hose.
Cut 10mm off the hose and replaced the clamp while also using new PS fluid 1 litre
Cost $10 for fluid and $3.25 for clamp

301,338 kms replaced oil and filter.
Also drain and fill transmission 3.5 litres
Also replaced oil filter housing as it had a deep gouge
Again Bosch made in USA filter media is crushed and deformed (same thing occurred on my 2000 V70 using the same filter)
Is that a hole I see in the filter media ????
Cost of repairs:
Oil filter housing Dorman 917-017 $15.00
Mahle oil filter OX-149D $13.00
Synthetic oil 5W-30 Chief $45.45
Synthetic fluid for trans Chief JWS-3309 compliant 3.5 litres $35
Total: $108.45
Notes: oil leaks seem to be occurring from oil cooler o rings. Replace soon.
