water pumps

I really need help putting in a new water pump in my 89 740T
I dont know anything about volvos or where to start, and dont want to pay 150 labour
anyone? I need DETAILED explanation lol

I suggest that you buy Haynes Repair manual for your car and you will get good infomation how to do that job and other jobs. Actually the job itself is not complicated. If you take the fan blads away while the pump is still in the car, you normally do not have to remove the cooler, just the fan cover. Of cource you need a set of good tools, because it is not much space there.
On the other hand, if you are not to familiar with this job it should not be too expencive. The "official Volvo work time" is less than 40 minutes for changing the water pump.
