No big deal, the difference is an extra port which is already capped per your photo.
I seeee. Thanks for clearing that up.
As far as my strut mounts go, yes, they are aftermarket.

I have a 2001 V70 XC. I Just replaced the bottle. The original bottle had just one hose bib leaving the top of the expansion tank. The new bottle I chose has 2.

While I know this is not an "Exact" fit replacement for my 2001 V70 XC I decided to buy the bottle with 2 hose bibs at the top of the bottle because it came with a new cap and float sensor. The Bottle that fits my volvo was available for $30 but for this price they do NOT include the cap or Float sensor.

For just $28 I bought this Dorman 603-667 bottle its very nearly an exact match except this bottle comes with 2 hose bibs on the top. It also came with a new cap and a new float sensor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GN ... UTF8&psc=1

Perhaps the original owner of your vehicle ran into a similar situation and decided to just plug the 2nd hose bib.

I wonder if this extra hose bib could be used to add an additional expansion bottle or perhaps an auxiliary radiator?
