I finally got around to replacing the PCV system, which was mostly blocked at the lower PCV box to block interface. After finishing with new intake gasket, injector top and bottom rings,PCV kit from FCP and new volvo plugs it started right up and the hunt and peck it was displaying before between 800 and 900 RPM; has completely gone away, hopefully the intermittant blue exhaust smoke will go away as well. Compression test to follow! Follwed the guides to replacement of PCV and cleaned everything from the turbo to the block.
Anyways... it now has or was hidden before a slight vibration at idle and low rpm's. Thoughts? thanks
Looking at plugs, intake torque, and vacuum lines tonight.

Check for pending codes to see if there are any air metering codes stored that would indicate some kind of vacuum leak.
Otherwise, maybe it's an issue evident now that wasn't before with the idle hunting around - a bad engine mount, worn spark plugs, etc.

Thanks , not throwing codes but what does it mean to check for " precodes" I do have a decent code reader . New plugs installed same time pcv replaced. Plugs checked 1 thru 4 slightly wet 5 dry . Forgot to mention the PVC was so bad the intake was caked with oil residue/ sludge and took a good 24 chemical soak and an hour brushing out to clean. Then blew it out with throttle body cleaner. I'm sure the left overs are what are showing up on plug 1 to 4 . Cleaned throttle body out and brushed as well. Just took it out for anther drive plenty of power and pick up but still vibrating through the car at low idle speed/ I did notice this is when you are in forward, not when parked or reverse.

But when in forward with the brake on you can feel a slight vibration that wasn't there before.

As it seems to be running well in your opinion, That vibration in gear is typically a failed lower engine mount (just below the crankshaft pulley). It's not too bad to replace.

Why does this not show up when in reverse with brake on ? I'll check all the mounts tomorrow and with 220,000 miles will probably replace.
Are there any steps to ensure I'm not having ETM issues after pulling it off and cleaning everything ?
Thanks again. Symptoms seem to be at low rpms but I will recheck tomorrow. It,s quite possible it was running so rough with the fouled intake and throttle body that the vibration issue was being covered up .

Took a quick look at top motor mount I can create play in it easily so I'll try some quick shims to see how that effects the vibration .

Maybe the change in torque shifts the load on the mount which stops the vibration when in reverse.
