Pending codes? I do have a reader but haven't learned yet how to check for pending codes.
Did notice I can create play in the upper/top motor rev mount/bushing.

Otherwise, maybe it's an issue evident now that wasn't before with the idle hunting around - a bad engine mount, worn spark plugs, etc.

Right...pending codes would show up there on your scanner even if the CEL is not illuminated yet. If you're showing nothing...I think your problem is most likely in the engine mounts. I do believe reverse bumps up the idle a small bit on that car (been a while since I've driven mine), so may not be noticeable there. But in drive, foot on the brake, the engine may be sitting down on the subframe and will make a lot of vibration felt through the cabin. The main suspect for that is the mount shown in rspi's videos, but the top one may also cause a bit of vibration as well.

yup bottom right just behind passanger wheel completely shot , will post upon repair !
