87 240 Wagon-Dry Rear-end Bushings (squeek, creak)

Post by Harry von Zell »

the saga continues....

I was worried that the loud squeeking/creeking in rear area was a potential CV or other serious problem.

A mechanic friend put it up on a lift and says its just dried bushings in an old car...

Is there any product (other than th e WD-40 type) that will treat/lubricate this area to reduce this nerve racking problem?

You guys are da Best!

Holts Rubber & Nylon Lubricant.

Not sure if this is available in the US, but I think it will be. It does work, unlike some others I have tried over the years.

Bill,

Searched all over the net. Can't seem to find anyone who will ship Holts to the States.

It apparantly works quite well based on the comments around the UK.

Perhaps someone knows a seller in America!

Thx,
