1996 850 Engine shutters when I put the car in Drive

My '96 850 with over 300k miles on the clock was running great even when I didn't have the ABS Controller harness engaged properly. Once, those of you pointed out the errors of my ways, I got the speedometer working again. However, now the Old Gal is shuttering, almost a pulsating feeling, whenever I shift her into gear at idle (Automatic Transmission). I didn't notice any loose vacuum lines and I haven't messed with anything else other than replacing the speed sensor (I thought that might have caused the speedometer to stop working and the tracs light to go out). Am I missing something here? I did unplug the MAF sensor to remove the air cleaner box when I was working on the speed sensor. I made sure it was plugged back properly. I am lost. Any help and All Ideas will be appreciated. The "Little Lady" needs to go another 100K miles 'cause I just bought her a new set of 80K mile shoes.

Idle air control tubes would be a good place to look for cracks by squeezing.

Is this a turbo? The model description does not tell.
If so, squeeze turbo intercooler hoses while looking for cracks.
All vacuum lines.

After those are completely ruled out is the time to look at sensors.
It worked for me.
