2003 XC70 Vibration on Acceleration re-up
I have a 2003 Volvo XC70 with around 170,000 miles and I have been experiencing at heavy vibration under load from around 20 MPH which starts as a wobble into a full blown vibration at around 45 MPH, which shakes the seats violently. I posted this up before but did not add additional details. My tires are only 3 months old and have been aligned but now I am noticing heavy outside wear on the rear passenger tire. I had just replaced the rear hub assembly and in doing so we had to twist the trailing/control arm to realign with the hole. Is there any chance that a bent rear arm could be causing the vibrations on under load? The vibrations increase on hill climbs. Thanks again.

Shaking seats - unbalanced rear wheels.
Ask a friend to drive behind you, and check if the car seems to be driving a little 'sideways'. means a severe rear wheels geometry issue.
a quick guess is a bushing on the rear suspension arm is completely shot. check bushings, a control arm is hard to bend.
