2001 Volvo S80 T6-Black smoke and loss of power
My volvo s80 is acting up and seems to be getting worse. First there was a gasoline type smell, followed by a loss of power when driving. Drives very rough now and is blowing a lot of black smoke out the tail pipe. Just put brand new plugs in recently after a cylinder 1 misfire. There is an O2 sensor after the converter that is not working properly but I find it hard to believe this is causing all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated toward troubleshooting this or an answer to what is causing this. I can only assume it is fuel related but not sure what to check or how.

getting a cylinder 1 misfire again, just changed all spark plugs weeks ago and still misfiring. What could be causing this? also had 2 codes with no definition of P1132. Any ideas what this is?

Unplug the MAF and see if it runs better.

If you have a known bad O2 sensor, you should fix that. Especially considering you are having fueling issues. It could be preventing the car from making a more correct diagnosis.
If you Google P1132 Volvo, you'll find this:

What is the other code?
If you've been driving with black smoke for a while you might have killed the cat. If so, that would choke the engine causing it to run rough.
Continued black smoke means not all of the fuel is burning. Have you tried moving the injector to a different cylinder to see if the misfire follows? They can fail and cause over fueling and take out the cat. Typically the rear O2 is responsible for testing cat efficiency.
The typical scenario is the injector fails, car throws a P0420 yet it's a failed injector that's at fault. Wait too long, the cat is contaminated and requires replacement.
Also consider moving the coils and watching for a different code as they have been known to fail under 100k miles as well. Also inspect for cracks in the plastic.
