96 850 electrical problems
I just got a 96 850 to drive to work. The problem is the windows.radio and climate control do.not.work. i have replaced the ignition switch thinking that was the.problem. no dice. No power.is.getting to the relay that control it. Any ideas?
I'm not great at wiring diagrams but I was wondering if you saying that you don't have power at pin 2 on the x overload relay (yellow violet wire)? Thinking you might have a break in the yellow violet wire between ignition switch and the relay. Somebody with more experience may let us know if I'm even close with this.

Can you post the wiring diagram?
Not sure that I can but I tried to attach a file. See if it can be viewed.

Correct in no power at the pin in the relays. Both of them. Jumping power to the line sude of the fuses gets them working but is rigged. Any suggestions? At work now but working and testing it tomorrow.
I think your on the right track. When energized the yellow violet wire from the x terminal of the ignition feeds power to fuses 34 and 33. From fuse 33 the y-vo wire continues to feed power to the two relays (terminal 2 on both overload relays 30 and 60). Terminal 4 on each relay is the ground. The window circuit begins with relay 60 at terminal 1 which is the power feed from the battery, and when the relay is energized, power will flow from terminal 1 to terminal 3 and then through circuit breaker 37 to the window switches. You just need to isolate where the break is, and from what you described that is somewhere between the ignition switch and terminal 2 of the relays.
