Your problem could be big or not big. Read the codes from socket A-1 and post them. If you have not used the onboard diagnostic system before it is located on the left side of the car near the window washer fluid filler.

Have a pen and paper handy so that you can write down the number of flashes the LED makes.

Lift the cap off of the A side and insert the flywire into socket number 1. Turn the ignition key to position II but don't start the car. Press the button on the onboard diagnostic system and hold it for 1 second. The red LED will then begin to flash. Count the number of flashes in each set of 3 digit numbers. For example, code 223 would be:

flash-flash-----flash-flash-----flash-flash-flash

Post the codes and we can try to help you figure it out.

3-2-2 is incorrect gear ratio for given roadspeed.

Were you using a position other than D?

I suspect the PnP switch....not that difficult of a repair. Try rolling the gearshift 20 or so times from "P" to Low Gear, ratchetting it back an forth (foot must be on the brake and key in position II). This will often clean the contacts on the switch and take care of the problem, at least for awhile.

Bill, i had been in neutral while the error came on, im not sure i can really feel a difference, but i got the shifts points off that manual on here (thanks!), and ill see whats up. Also, have any of you had a problem with the inside of your windshield frosting up, i did tonight and it was the oddest thing.
