I can order this part on ipd/vps/euro/fcp for about 2 US dollars. Trouble is, today is Sunday night the 27th and I have to work Monday. $28 dollars for overnight on it and it wont get here until late Tuesday.
Cant do that. Anyone have any experience with this, maybe know the sizes of the bolt etc.
Only part number i can find with this is 985187,Flange screw (945444).
Not sure, but I over torqued the idler roller bolt and the head broke off its not too long of a bolt and luckily it didn't break off inside the block.
I need to find a replacement FAST. I may be able to do some hunting at a local hardware store in the morning. I just cant walk to work.
Some background into WHY I was replacing the roller in the first place.
-220,000 Miles
-Timing belt original, needed to be replaced. Oh, it was ORIGINAL.
-Water pump ORIGINAL. Did I tell you the mileage? That's 220,000. 220,000!
-Serpentine belt ORIGINAL. This car basically had little to nothing done for maintenance.
Had some clues that maybe it is something along the line of M8x25. Confirm?

M8 1.25 25 mm long. Get a flat washer as the original bolt was not that long but had the flange head. Should not be hard to find. Should be at least grade 8.8 but 10.8 is even better.

Worked great! Even though the bolt was threaded all the way to the flange it fit snug. Torqued it to 18ft. I'm not entirely sure my tensioner is tentioned properly my belt feel like its not as tight. Should it have any play at all?
