2001 s80 t6 i just replaced the breather box (pcv)

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

i just replaced the breather box everything went well i put new grommets / seals in changed the box took all the spark plugs and coils out and cleaned then because some has filled with oil put all back together car ran fine for 2 days then had a misfire in cyl 1 took it back apart found a small trace of water in there from when i decided to rinse residual oil off of the head cleaned it every thing was fine for 1 day then the next day it just started running like crap it wouldn't accelerate past about 1500 rpm and wants to stutter and die when i try to press the peddle down PLEASE HELP!!!!!

It sounds like you have a vacuum system leak or one of your turbo pipes has come loose letting in unmetered air. With all the piping that has to come off for PCV service it would not be unheard of that some connection has come loose.

i thought that to but i took everything back apart today back to where i was at when i first did the replacement and double checked everything didn't see any thing loose would a bad coil do this and if so is there a way to test the coils as i don't have the software needed to do a diag test and i have no on dash warning lights

Check the MAF. disconnect and see how it runs.

When you washed engine the ETM may have been affected by water. Turn on ignition and listen for the clicking and resetting noise within 6 seconds. If you don't hear it there's your problem.

When i turn the key to run I can hear a starting up hum sound coming from the area of the etm app is that ruled out? I also heard that party is under recall I had it flash under recall last year should i try and have it replaced under recall/warranty?

The North American warranty was for 200, 000 miles or 10 years, whichever first. Your warranty is over.

So is the sound coming from the etm a good thing then?

Also there is no fluctuating problems at idle just when under load/accelerating
