1994 Volvo 850 radiator install going down hill
A wire broke while I was installing a radiator. the wire plugs into another wire that is resting in front of the ac condenser the wire goes behind the passenger headlight. I tried to splice it but it's just not enough wire, and to old and brittle. Anyone know what it's for and called so I can order a new one. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Close it's for the headlight. (Wallflowers one headlight song playing in background). I can't get enough wire to do a splice, I tried looking on ebay for the harness, but am having a hard time finding it.

Sorry I stand corrected. you were right it was the wiper wire. I have no idea why the headlight stopped working for that brief moment. I took the assembly apart tested the wires, and they all worked I put the headlight back together and it worked. So far I changed the thermostat and thermostat sensor, the oil trap, and flametrap as well as pvc hoses, I also replaced the rad. but I am finding a ton of wires and sensors that are not hooked up. I have no idea where they go, would it be alright to post a few pics under my topic.

Please post some pictures. For finding wiring connections find the origin of each mystery wire and describe the number of connectors on the end too. Trying to help with poorly described wiring is a bit frustrating so take time to make it easy for the help! Use a photo edit program and label each one in your pictures to avoid ambiguity.

Your '94 may have the VVIS manifold which adds a few more vacuum lines and a vacuum solenoid as well as check valve.
I saw something at your air box that looked like a clothes drier tube.
Could you get another shot of that area? I am intimately connected to the '93 to '94.4 VVIS intake.

It is a thread that I had posted for an N/A modification for that year variable velocity manifold.
You may have that if it is an early '94.
Also, what is the radiator issue? Is it a fan/electrical issue, or plumbing.
