2009 s40 key replacement ordered

hey members, i got key ordered from a dealer , for 2009 s40 keyless remote key, that is plastic type, this key came, with sticker on the plastic housing that house the key, and i can only find the 8 digit code, the 16 digit did not appear on the bar code sticker, only the 8 digit code that appear, please i want to know how can the 16 digit code be gotten, or was it the dealer duty to supply that code, if yes, is it suppose to be different written near the 8 digit by hand or what.. i look forward to read something positive of retrieving this code or how they manage to get this codes. thank you

The 16 digit code is letters and numbers. Are you sure there isn't a 16 mixed alphanumeric string?

Find in this attach image, how the key came and the sticker on it and you can see that there is no 16 digits on it, and i want , the rest of th 16, will it be written by hand or generated from which server or is it printed just like the 8 is printed from the manufacture

I have held the packaging for a 2006 key in my hand, but I gave it to the dealer when it was programmed, and they didn't return it. Perhaps you could check with your vendor that sold you the key, or with myswedishparts.com, where I got mine?
