You can simply disconnect the other heater hose and connect it to the port in question and bypass the heater core for now.

So I found the culprit. It indeed was the hose from the block to the heater core. I already performed the heater hose firewall coupling delete so I just used some 5/8 fuel vapor line, real stiff, and used a barbed 3/4 brass fitting I found at the big box hardware store and everything is back running.

The overheating issue stemmed from a jack accident that dented the radiator and destroyed my cooling fan. I was running the motor without a cooling fan as it was no problem in the winter months but once it got warmer became an issue but I managed until this happened. (No I don't need to hear how stupid this is, I understand the risks and proceeded anyways, save your time and mine.)

I found a cooling fan and housing at a pull-a-part for less than 20$, I used my old motor as the yard how cut all the wires leading to the motor. With it all installed the fan runs and cools great BUT it NEVER shuts off. Trying to do some research found that maybe its a bad thermostat or temp sensor but the temp gauge does move up and down just not past the 3 o'clock mark since all the work was completed. Anyway to test the fan relay or the wires running in and out? Has anyone hot wired the fan to just run constantly when the car is running and off when the car is off? Not looking for an expensive permanent last me 10 more years stock fix. I am really looking for the cheapest easiest way to keep then fan running and not killing my battery. Just need to keep my wheels to get me to work a couple more months.

Just wire the fan relay direct to any terminal (ignition on, hot) and you should be set. I think that's terminal 15 in EU cars but thats a guess

I don't know how much steam you were putting out when your hose blew, but I had steam from a cracked radiator destroy my secondary air solenoid. Likewise, the steam may have taken out your cooling fan relay. A new fan relay shouldn't be more than 10 dollars at Pull-a-Part and, personally, I'd gamble ten bucks on one before I resorted to hot-wiring.
