coolant tank question

I have an 01 s80 t6 that keeps cracking coolant reservoir tanks on me in the exact same spot not sure why. Had compression tests done everything came back fine. It cracks on the drivers side by the cap. Also have a small leak in a house that connects to the fire wall on the drivers side. I imagine it connects to the heater core but not sure what to call the hose and connecter to purchase one
