2004 S60 turn signal

experts only please.
I have a Volvo s60 2004 and I have a issue with my left turn signal. My right indicator works the left turn indicator doesn't blink outside, but blinks inside regularly. The light where the left indicator is stays on even when the car is off. When I turn on the hazard light it does the same thing, which is one side blinks the other doesn't. I assume it is not a problem with the light bulb, possibly a relay that is bad. HELP.....

This is one mode of failure symptomatic of fused bulb connectors on two filament (tail turn/brake) bulbs
You should be able to find the thread with a search.

These assemblies go bad 99 % of the time, no real reason to waste your time to look elsewhere.
It's quite simple just replace the turn signal assy, (not expensive).
(You can buy used too, this is a pretty easy job)
