Put one end to your ear, the other to the exhaust manifold, etc.

Visited the exhaust shop today and the tech and eye used the hose method to identify the possible leak. Nothing was found, entire exhaust still solid after all these years WOW. I put a bottle of cataclean to help clean the catalytic converter, hopefully the odor will go away. Still shocked how solid my oem muffler all the way from the down pipe is

Has the heater core been replaced lately? Maybe it is giving off the odor. You can bypass the core, then pull the core out and dive a day or so to see if the odor goes away.

@ rspi... New heater core from eBay. It's an exhaust smell for sure, not the heater core coolant smell

I'm trying to tell you, those cores are toxic. If your heat mix doors are not closing all the way as they are suppose to, they will gag you.

There are several posters reporting nasty smells from the ebay cores from Lithuania. The cores work great, they just have some Cherbnobyl waste shipped out on them that needs to be cleaned off.

If you had a bad enough exhaust leak to gag, I think you would hear it at revs

Indeed i found why i'm smelling oil thru cabin. Valve seals are shot and leaking into exhaust past exhaust manifold gasket onto the whole back of engine. Just awesome...

That could be an expensive fix. I know you don't want to hear that.
