Remove the TX40 center plug from drain plug. Use a 17mm hex key or a 17mm bit and remove the drain plug.
Partially or completely remove the air filter housing so you can access the TX55 fill plug on the forward outboard side of the trans top.
Install the drain plug and tighten. Install the center TX40 level check plug snugly.
Add 4 quarts ATF to trans through fill hole and install and tighten the plug.
Set air filter in place and start engine. Allow engine to run 10 minutes and put in D and in R and then back in P. Remove the check plug and allow the extra fluid to run out. It will be 8-12 ounces.

If you leave drain plug out for hours then you need to put in more fluid. 12 or more hours may need 5 quarts as the torque converter will drain and cause more to be in sump to drain out through plug.
