1997 850 Mystery Ignition Key

Neil, can't find a diagram of my immobilizer, but it should be wired to the ignition switch or the ecu. The picture shows a thin, wide connector of 5 wires. Will have to go digging.

You haven't really clarified about any problem, just that it's installed.
Is it working? I'd suggest that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Make sure there is nothing Argentinian around. They immobilize anything Dutch this year.

BEJinFbk, to clarify, I needed to identify what it was since I found zero info on it, and I do want to disable it because it apparently is a Netherlands and Denmark only system…

Can you imagine the nightmare it would be to get a replacement if and when it fails?

Perhaps it's wired similar to the VolvoGuard. Will report back when I find something.
