Transmission....PNP switch

Just a thank you to everyone who over the years has contributed some information regarding the PNP switch on the 850 tranny. I read up on all the most common volvo related faults when I picked up my 850 a few months ago. I therefore knew exactly what to do when my car decided to go into 'limp' mode last night in -25 degree celcius weather on a major road. I pulled over and ran the gear selector from P-L a few times and presto!! Magic temporary cure !!. I'll be changing the switch on Tuesday.

Still love this car even with all the preventative maintenance...... Beats driving my old leaky GM anyday !
