s90 1989 power stearing return hose

I need to replace return hose/power stearing for 1998 s90 bought part number 9178693 from volvo but when connecting to under side where line is it doesnt look the same. the new part has a open knuckle on the lower end of the hose.any insite on this ???

The part number you quote is that shown on VADIS so it should fit.

never mind found out that there are 2 parts for this/ newer and older version the 1 sold was to me in the model year was the later the earlier had a cooling coil and i found that part number after calling the dealership back then spoke to grotton to get a better price. thanks anyway . next issues how to fix cable under power seat and crunching noise in front end i think is control arms any insite on these issues

What is the problem with the power seat?

Control arm replacement is fairly simple.

lol. my new-to-me s90 has the exact same 2 probs. it's the only 2 probs i want the mechanics to fix later this month. (no garage right now, 30deg outside). the front end is clunking and i know the PS return hose is leakin coupla drops a week...

my antenna is also retarded and my key remote is DOA, but i think i can take care of those on my own....
