It does sound to me like your fuel pump is no good, I would definitely put a new one in and not a used one. You can buy just the pump which installs into your existing pump housing in your tank. I did mine last year, I was able to search around the internet stores and found one for like $70 or so.

Okay, so I have completed the install on my new Walbro pump, it went quite smoothly. I reinstalled the pump and it ran well. Unfortunately I realized I have a another problem. One of the quick connects that links the fuel line to the pump is leaking. I have a feeling I may have broken it when removing. I have the leak under control right now but putting a hose clamp around the connector until I can replace it. Does anybody know if these are readily available at the dealer?

Well turns out these connectors are not a dealer part, and I'm having trouble locating any. Does anyone know of a good volvo salvage yard that may have some?
