Receiver hitch for 850 V70 AWD compatibility Curtis

The timing belt in my '96 850 wagon blew in my driveway today, I regard it as history. CL has a few '98, '99 V70 AWD's. Need a wagon and a hitch, so I will probably grab one of those. My question, will my 850 hitch transfer directly to an early V70? I remember from when I bought the hitch there was some interchange, but I think the XC was excluded.

Searched before posting, couldn't find anything. Can't find an interchange on the manufacturer's web site, Curt. eBay supplies this in an auction "Volvo 850 C70 S70 V70 Trailer Hitch 1993-2004". This doesn't square with my memory at time of purchase, I recall a change with the new body style V70.

Okay, finally found it on the Curt site. Maybe this will help others. The Curt hitch fits all Volvo 850's and 70 series from 1993 to 2000, I guess the new body 70's have a chassis change. It notes that it also fits AWD models.
