2004 volvo v70 ABS repair

My ABS light has I believe been coming on intermittently. It flashes so quickly I can barely see it. I have 138000 mikes on the car. This has happened a few times as I am slowing down and about to stop. A couple of times my air conditioning has cut out too for a second and come right back on. When researching I do not see a less expensive option to send off to for example to Xemodex.. My car is an 04' so I am guessing I have to go to a stealer ship?? Any direction on a less expensive option is appreciated. I hate this car!!! No more Volvos for me:(

140K and you may need an ABS module, so what?
Stuff happens. Do you know how many other brands may need an ABS module at those miles

Buy a used one, I did for about $300 from http://www.erievovo.com about 2-3 months ago for a bad 04 V70AWD with 60,000!!! miles but you may just need a wheel sensor, or your axle is slipping out.
Have everything looked at first

If the ABC module is at fault, you may try looking for a local electrician, to have him resolder it. It shouldn't be that difficult. Xemodex are way too expensive.

The air con might have what is called the "bread clip" issue, look up on google about it.
Keep in mind, Volvo dealer is there to make benefits out of repairs, they will gladly do repairs that won't even always fix the issue.

The abs light is a warning light. It means there is something wrong in your abs system, it is not an automatic call that there is anything wrong with the module at all.
