V70 stuck in park and won't turn on

guess we should feel comforted that this would probably indicate how difficult it would be to steal this car!!!!!

final update - got our V70 back on Monday - took just over 3 weeks (Sweden to NZ) and cost (not us - but the insurer) about $1300 NZD. Not a pleasant exercise but we are very pleased to have the car back and it is driving beautifully. Long may it last! :D

If you have 2 keys on your fob, remove one.
Sometimes two keys send out conflicting signals and mess up the immobilizer
