Are Pro parts Sweden and Uro Parts now considered the same?

Recently bought URO fender liners for my V70. They are almost as thin as toilet paper compared to the originals. I'm sending them back and ordering genuine.

Countries like Chekolslovakia...are but afew countries appearing on the "Made In" labels regularly.

Remember that the laptop you use to type this message is made in China, but with American technology know-how!

NTN, NSK, INA, FAG bearings...they are all good, same league.

When it comes to car parts:
- I have no problems buying bulbs from China.
- But when it comes to critical parts like bearing, timing belt, I stick the known brands.

One has to live in China to understand their philosophy. They usually stick their hands out asking for money before they even deliver the products. It is not the country, it is the culture that matters. In my own experience, the Vietnamese have better ethics than the Chinese, I might be wrong.
Japan was a different story, they learned over the years to get better. Today, their bearings (Koyo, NTN, etc.) are one of the best, as good as German bearings.

And the laptop is getting less and less durable, more and more a disposable appliance. The laptop suffers from exactly the same problem!

I would not have guessed you once lived in China, that's pretty cool.

I completely agree it is an issue of culture. We'll see how it plays out but in the meantime I'll probably stick to old cars and old(ish) computers ...
