location of obd 2 port on 1996 850?

Ive got a check engine light on and would like to hook up my OBD 2 scanner to check the codes but I dont know where the connection port is located. Please help

Under the coin slots, pull it off

Directly in front of the shifter. I have an older version so I'm not absolutely sure but I believe it is under a coin tray. The tray pops out and the port is there.

best way to spot a 1993 to 94 .. its coin holder tray is on the right of the cigarette lighter. 95 and up had them on the left. If its on the left.. lift it up and voila... the plug in is there.
