1999 V70XC Turn signals functioning intermittentently

Post by RMatey »

Hi, folks,
The turn signals on our 99 V70XC will light up when switched on (both in the dash and the signal lights themselves) sometimes, and sometimes not. Occasionally they work just fine, but most of the time they will light up once or twice, then nada. We tried two different new switches just on the off chance that the first one was faulty, but neither fixed the problem. Does anyone have any idea what's going on or what to try next? We were sure replacing the switch (the stick behind the steering wheel :D ) would do the trick, but no dice. Any help would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks much!

It's usually the hazard light switch.

Ah, that's a good thought. We'll give it a shot.
Thanks!
