i am having trouble getting into 1st and reverse gears. it seams to be mostly when i first start out on a drive almost as if something needs heated up first.
can anyone let me know what the pro could be such as clutch or gates

Have you checked the gearbox oil level?
Also check the gearchange linkage for damage/loose connections.
