1998 S70 T5 M Canisto Wheels

Post by shaker_chi »

I found a set of Canisto wheels from a C70 on craigslist for $200. They come with p225/45R17 tires and I was wondering if I these tires are going to rub. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have same size of wheels/tires on my 2000 V70R. I have no problems since I've had the car. I do notice some damage to one if the front liners, at the front of the wheel, but the previous owner was not too clever with the repairs.

One thought is if you have an early 98. you may have the 'old' style control arms with the 2 bolts running front to back, as opposed to the newer ones with the 4 bolts through the frame. Don't think it will make any difference, but I'd check to be 100% sure. If you have the newer control arms, then I think you are good. Check the offset. If it is the same as your car then you should be good.
