clogged pcv symptoms 95 turbo wagon

I took my wagon on a road trip for 18 hours straight. I eventually had to a 2-3 qts of oil throughout the trip. In general, oil seems to be leaking out of several places. I just had a bunch of hoses replaced on the car and did a valve job on it. The power steering fluid was almost empty and I think it is being forced out somewhere and somehow. Are these symptoms of a clogged pcv system?

Also, the crack in my oil cap has gotten larger since the road trip. When I pull the dipstick out, I can see some fumes flowing pretty good out of there.

It seems you have multiple problems. Definitely the PCV needs service but it wouldn't be the reason for so many leaks so lose that much oil, nor for your auto tranny fluid to leak out. Get them all checked out by a reputable independent Volvo specialist.
