hydraulic motor mount brand
I'm shopping at FCP euro for hydraulic motor mounts for my 850 turbo wagon . I'm looking for opinions as to whether or not the Lemforder rear mount is worth spending the extra money for considering that I have seen it stated that Corteco is the OEM for the rear mount and it is almost half the price yet FCP's site states that lemforder is the OEM and does not state this for the corteco mount . I'm suspicious of the corteco because it is almost the same price as the Pro parts mount . I'd like to save money but not at the expense of a mount that does not do its job well . Any information on the origin or quality of these parts would be appreciated .

To the best of my knowledge, OEM mounts are as follows for the 850's:
Front hydraulic: Hutchinson
Rear hydraulic: Corteco
Right engine: Lemforder
Torque rod bushing: Lemforder
Torque rod to firewall bracket: Hutchinson
Transaxle to frame mount: Hutchinson
If you plan on keeping the car I'd spend the extra money. Most of the OEM stuff on these cars is built to last. I did all of mine between 25k and 30k miles ago with OEM parts, and don't regret it at all.
The listed price (52.11) is pretty damn good for that part.
I noticed that my engine sits a bit higher with new hydraulic mounts, so I have to think they sag with time even if they don't look like they are leaking. I think this sagging is tough on the other more commonly replaced mounts, especially the torque rod bushing, because it messes up the geometry.
