Had a few questions regarding the alarm system. 95 850R. I always set the alarm when I lock the doors (is there a way to lock the doors and not set the alarm?) and sometimes, more recently, when I unlock the door and put the key the hazards will start flashing. The first time this happened I thought I had inadvertantly bumped the steering wheel which triggered the alarm, but ever since then I have been careful not the bump the wheel. Still sometimes the alarm gets set off. It's not a big deal to get out of the car and reset the alarm, but I would still like to know what's going on.
Sometimes it's the small things that cause the headaches.
Oh yeah, I don't have an owners manual.
