The red hose goes to the vacuum tree on the inrake manifold just beneath the IAC. It's a 4mm line.

UPDATE: Got everything put back and started the car and still getting code P0102 for the Maf sensor. I checked all the vacuum hoses, and connectors and everything is plugged in and secure. Is it possible that Maf Sensor is bad?

On a positive note, there is no smoke coming out of the dipstick and the stumble on idle is gone. Any other ideas besides replacing the MAF sensor?

UPDATE> found a used 2 year old Maf and installed it and no more codes. I drove it around the block for a bit and it seems to be a little slow until the turbo kicks in, but that could be because it hasn't been driven in a while and one of my brakes is dragging.

If the old MAF was not accurate the adaptives are messed up and it will take a while for the ECU to relearn its new center trim points. You can hasten the relearing a bit by removing a battery cable for 30 seconds or so (you will need to have your radio code). Even after a hard reset the mileage and performance will not be optimum for the first tank of gas or so.

thanks. I guess I will try to disconnect the battery and hopefully it will relearn quicker.
