94 850 turbo fun weekend

Post by skloon »

I knew I had some sort of shock mount issue so I pulled out the cargo cover and discovered that the 'volvo specialist' shop that had changed the shocks had not tightened the upper shock bolts properly a few years ago, so I went to tighten them.

The pixies had messed up the allen key fitting at the top of the left shock, so I went underneath to pull off the bottom so I could take it out backwards, but no they broke the bottom stud and had welded a nut in place- grrrrr

So I went and swapped the whole dang rear axle- changed the delta links, end mounts and installed a swaybay too, while I was there I decided to remove the fuel tank and fix the cracked hose on top and swap the pump too.

Then I dropped my breaker bar on the camera, so no more pics, It is all together complete with winter tires new parking brake cable and shoes and mudflaps and I assembled the whole ball of wax. The big question is ??? I may have reversed the hoses on the fuel pump as she wont start, is this possible ?? of course I reinstalled the interior then broke a tooth eating my celebratory taco
