98 v70 awd, drive shaft vibration

Post by wuttheheeck »

Long story short I took my v70 into the shop 6 months ago for a noise I couldn't quiet locate.

It ended up being the driveshaft support/center bearing.

Replaced the support bearing and then suddenly had a vibration from 30-65mpg.

Replaced u joint in case that was the cause. Vibrations still present.

What is my next step? I'd rather not shell out 400 for a new/refurbished shaft since I have two of the pieces already.

Help please, snow is coming and I can't figure it out!
