We got this car and you could say its ok, even runned a little after 2 years stopped! as we'd been told this is a continuous fuel inection engine, (and in betwen the air intake and the carburetor it has some weird mechanism for the mixing with a spingel full of oil and kinda a glass with wholes near the ventury intake and the fuel coming to te throttel valve)... but before all this was clear to us we discovered there was one hose loose in the outside of the carburetor coming from something very alike to a filter or an electro valve, or even some sensor, just in the right fender and close behind the battery...
Also in the back of the air intake big hose there was a conection same diameter of this loosed hose, so we thought they were very like one to other we hoocked them up...
All day every time we tried running the engine it did and then flooded and the air intake was literally pourring gas-oil to the filter and out.. really lots...
Really late we realized there was no carburetor prob but the hose wasnt in the right place, but one more time looked and didnt see any other place where to conect it.
we are planning to get a repair manual but just in case if some one has a clue what this device behind the battery does, and where that hoose must go? would be a pleasure, we need the car running soon so we can enjoy summer time.
thanx lots and have the best time!
