Got these Cels for a while now....Changed Barometric sensor, Acceleration sensor, High and low AC pressure sensors as they all share the same ground....Yet CEL is still there for P0107 and P1308.....I don't know where to go from there.....Can this be a ECU problem?....By simply swapping the ECU with another one from a used vehicle, you think that would solve this issue?.......If so what is the ECU part number and what is the best way to swap it?...Does swapping ECUS need Programming( for the replacement ECU) for 1998 Volvo s70?..... All inputs would be greatly appreciated!!

I am new to Volvo and im just now starting to work on mine but while browsing i ran across a you tube video about cleaning off the ecu .evidently they sometimes get dirty due to their location .Just thought you might want to try that before buying more parts

If you have a ground problem, it does not matter if you change the sensors. Just thinking loud: as those are not high power loss components, you could try to simply measure resistance between battery- and ground points at connectors.
@ Atis, Do you know by any chance where is the Ground line for all these sensors is?If you have a ground problem, it does not matter if you change the sensors. I would appreciate your input!!

If you are asking the actual ground wire, I do not know...
You can try to follow it from the sensor. On the Baro sensor there are 3 pins, numbered (3 - 2 - 1) from left to right, and these are (+5V - Ground - Sensor signal). So follow the middle wire from the Baro sensor.

Did you ever resolve this, I have same issue and all sensors are good(Accelerometer, Baro, high side a/c sensor and low side a/c sensor). My a/c compressor with engage if I jump at relay location from fuse block in engine bay. If I jump High pressure sensor plug a/c compressor engages.aswresm wrote: ↑19 Nov 2014, 06:49 Got these Cels for a while now....Changed Barometric sensor, Acceleration sensor, High and low AC pressure sensors as they all share the same ground....Yet CEL is still there for P0107 and P1308.....I don't know where to go from there.....Can this be a ECU problem?....By simply swapping the ECU with another one from a used vehicle, you think that would solve this issue?.......If so what is the ECU part number and what is the best way to swap it?...Does swapping ECUS need Programming( for the replacement ECU) for 1998 Volvo S70?..... Have you checked and verified the charge of refrigerant? The high pressure sensor has also been known to flake out. The fact you jumper it and it works seems like it may confirm one or the other as the cause of your issue.
